Q. Do Parrable IDs contain information about me?
- Parrable IDs are pseudonymous unique identifiers created by Parrable to help recognize your browser and device each time they are encountered. They contain no personal information other than the IDs themselves.
Q. How do I know if I have a Parrable ID?
- Parrable IDs are stored as first-party cookies in your web browser when you visit one of our Publisher Partners’ websites. You can find the cookies by looking for “_parrable_id” in the cookie section of your web browser’s settings for a specific publisher.
Q. Are Parrable IDs encrypted?
- Yes. Parrable IDs are stored by your browser in an encrypted form called an “EID” and can only be decrypted by Parrable and our partners.
Q. Does Parrable accept Do Not Track signals from web browsers?
- Parrable does not Track users. It is the responsibility of the website being viewed to observe the various browser based DNT signals.
Q. Can I opt-out of Parrable IDs?
- Yes. Parrable supports a number of opt-out options directly, through its publisher partners, and through Industry wide organizations such as the NAI and DAA. More information about Parrable Opt-Out can be viewed at www.parrable.com/opt-out/.
