Information Collected via the Platform
The Platform is designed to help advertisers, publishers and their technology partners (our “Clients") maintain state on computers and mobile devices. The Platform assigns a unique identifier (our “Browser ID”) whenever our technology encounters a web browser on a computer or mobile device. We store this Browser ID in the cache of the browser being used by a particular computer or device.
The Browser ID above does not help us identify you individually. It helps us identify your browser so that when we encounter that browser again, our Clients will be able to target advertising and content to your interests and to better understand the effectiveness of their digital advertising campaigns. We don’t collect personally identifiable information on the Platform. In addition to the placing of the Browser ID, our Platform collects non-personally identifiable information, including IP address, the time/date a computer or device was seen, and the domain name of the website on which the Browser ID was placed or seen.
Privacy Practices for our Website
Our Website is directed to Clients and prospective Clients, which are mostly businesses. We may collect personally identifiable information (“PII”) via the Website when it is provided directly to us. For example, if you send us an email, or register on the site to become a Client, we will collect that information and use it for the purposes it was provided and will store your PII for a reasonable time for record keeping purposes.
Additional Information about our Privacy Practices.
Regardless of whether information is collected via our Website or our Platform, the security of your information is important to us. If the company is made aware that it has received PII from someone under 13, it will use reasonable efforts to remove that information from its records.
The Parrable technology Platform retains information for less than a year from the last time the Browser ID was seen. Parrable stores PII collected via the Website for a reasonable time for record keeping purposes.
Parrable does not rent, sell or share your PII collected via the Website with non-affiliated third parties without your consent. Our Platform is designed to share information (not including PII) with our Clients for the purpose of enabling their use of the Browser ID.
